Dr. Larry Legg, Denton County Master Gardener, and vegetable specialist will be presenting “One Season or Two: Vegetable Gardening in North Central Texas.”  He will be discussing which vegetables grow well and when to grow them in our North Central Texas soils and environments.

Linda Harvey, Denton County Master Gardener, will be giving her presentation on “Plant This Not That.”
Discover why some plants thrive while other plants looked better in the catalog or store. Texas environmental conditions affect the look, sounds, and smells of your yard. We will discuss the differences between sustainable and conventional development and learn which plants can be welcome assets in a sustainable garden.

Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 6 pm.

Charlotte Canion and Georgiana McCoig, Denton County Master Gardeners and Texas Superstar specialists will be presenting “Texas Superstar Plants” discussing how these plants, trees, and bedding plants, are chosen to be on the Texas Superstar Plant list giving us insight into their testing for soils, climates, and longevity.
